aider: to help (v.)

Je peux t'aider? or.... Puis-je t'aider? Can I help you? Pronounced: "ed-ay" NOTE: Both of the French sentences above mean the same thing. The first sentence uses inflection and the second sentence uses inversion. Inflection is just raising your tone at the end of the sentence to create a question out of a statement. Inversion takes the statement and inverts the subject and verb to create a question. The most common example of this is the French expression Parlez-vous français? . *If this confused you more.. don't fret because je peux t'aider si vous avez des questions.
